Fabricated displays are made mostly by hand from material that comes in flat sheets which usually measure 4' x 8'.  Parts are cut from these sheets then go through many processes before the final display is ready for shipment.  Some of the processes include:   cutting, machining, drilling, edge finishing, polishing, bending and gluing.   Fabricated displays are more expensive than injection molded displays due to the amount of manual labor required to produce them.  The biggest advantage of fabrication over injection molding is that no expensive molds are required.
