We've been manufacturing Outdoor Flyer Boxes since 1987. In fact, Innovative Plastics' first product was Outdoor Flyer Boxes. Others claim to be the innovators and claim to have been making Flyer Boxes since the stone age but the fact is back in the late 80's there were only a couple of companies manufacturing Brochure Boxes as they were called back then and we were one of them. We coined the name Flyer Boxes because another company laid claim to the name Brochure Boxes and we didn't want to infringe on him so we came up with Flyer Boxes.

Innovative Plastics was the first to use clear acrylic on the face of Flyer Boxes so you could SEE if there were any flyers left in the Flyer Box, all other manufacturers were making their boxes out of solid colored materials you couldn't see through. Soon everyone making Info-Boxes, Brochure Boxes, Flyer Boxes or whatever you want to call them started making them with clear faces. Another innovation of Innovative Plastics was to be the first to design and manufacture a spring loaded acrylic hinge, originally for use on our Flyer Boxes to keep the lids closed and of course soon thereafter spring loaded lids were standard equipment on brochure boxes.
